About Luis
A career from Bogotá stages to Rudy Van Gelder Studio.
From the presidential marching band in Colombia, to forty-plus shows touring with Shakira, to recording at the hallowed Van Gelder Studio in Englewood Cliffs. The path to jazz was long, and it shapes how every song lands.
Luis Giraldo is a Montreal-born, Vancouver-based jazz vocalist and pianist whose four studio albums span more than two decades of work alongside some of the most respected musicians in the genre. He performs in English and Spanish, with arrangements ranging from solo piano-vocal to full big band.
